Today, February 22, 2010, is declared as a Special (Working) Holiday per Proclamation No. 1841 issued by President Arroyo to commemorate EDSA Revolution Anniversary. The actual holiday is February 25, but by virtue of Republic Act No. 9492 it was moved to the nearest Monday, which is February 22.

This is good news for students, as the Proclamation declares that there will be no classes. However, for those in the employment sector, it is just an ordinary working day.

By the way, no premium pay for work performed today (just so you know). Cheers!
